Opportunities include:
Trainee Data Managers – DataCo’s success is based on its ability to deliver a high quality service within the Data Management sector. To develop this further we are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals with scientific and technical competence combined with project management skills. An eye for detail is essential and some previous experience would be an advantage. You will benefit from both formal and on the job training and be able to specialise in a particular field as you progress. Initial work will include data gathering, quality control andinterpretation. Once you have demonstrated your competency in these areas you will be able to progress into more advanced roles with more responsibility.
G.I.S. Technicians – With experience of ARCGIS software, you will be working alongside exploration geologists offering a full range of support in cartographic, remote sensing and spatial data management. He or she should be capable of providing routine GIS services (incl. digitization/georeferencing type activities) in support of multiple teams, and capable of starting up a GIS service in a new project. The main project role is GIS/Geo-information management support to the exploration team(s). This is an exciting opportunity for a recent GIS or Geosciences graduate who is interested in building a career in GIS or the oil and gas industry. Great scope for career expansion and to learn new technical skills. The role is ideally suited to someone who is flexible, adaptive and who thrives with fresh challenges.
