- Records Management position filled in UK North Sea Affiliate: A DataCo Senior Records Data Manager has been appointed to assist in the implementation of a their Livelink document management system.
- Super-Major Production & Surveillance Data Management and Seismic Data Management support: Two senior personnel with many years production surveillance and seismic data management expertise have begun long term contracts for a UK-based super-major, working within international asset teams in the South East UK.
- Small independent award a contract extension: A Swiss-based company have extended the contract with DataCo Ltd for the provision of onsite data management support to clean up their well datasets and load to a designated corporate store.

- Embedded Data Manger contract filled for Norway-based Super-major Affiliate: DataCo have been awarded a contract to supply a data manager until the end of the year to work onsite within an exploration asset team.

- Super-major UK North Sea Affiliate , Aberdeen: DataCo have been successful in their bid to supply a further team member to augment the support for LDI, a high-profile Log Data Improvement project, for which DataCo already provide a number of geodata managers.
- DataCo signs Framework Agreement with major UK-based oil company for Data Cleansing: DataCo Ltd has signed an agreement with a south east UK-based oilco as a prequalification for the right to bid for data cleansing work packets for BG asset teams planned during 2011. DataCo has since started work on both UK and Algerian asset team well and data rationalisation followed by subsequent upload into the client's designated corporate repository.

- DataCo have been awarded a contract to undertake the QC of a wellfile scanning project for an oil supermajor: DataCo staff will be checking that a third party contractor have correctly named and labelled wellfile documents before they are loaded to LiveLink and published to Flare's E&P Catalog. The correct naming and application of accurate metadata is essential so that G&G staff can identify and access logs and reports of interest to them quickly. This allows G&G staff to spend their time interpreting the well data rather than managing the data as they do not need to undertake a laborious review of every document in the well file prior to working on the well.
- Further extension to data management service contract from a UK based Major: The Aberdeen-based DataCo team currently supporting this major UK company remotely from the DataCo office commence Phase 8 of the project work to clean up the UK well dataset, load and 'lock down' into the designated corporate repository.
- DataCo awarded contract to identify the next generation of subsurface data repositories for major NW European Oil company: Two senior DataCo consultants have been appointed to undertake, alongside oilco IM personnel, the identification of the next generation of subsurface data management repositories from an initial Requirements Analysis to identification of candidate solutions, selection and testing. The new solution aims to cover all corporate subsurface data with a view to global roll-out across all affiliates -
- Phase One delivers a Requirements Specification by engaging key stakeholders to identify and then documents the critical business workflows that must continue to be supported by a new solution.
- Phase Two incorporates the delivery of a Solutions Definition and, following a rigorous selection process, the Product Selection.
- Phase Three entails implementation and data migration prior to going live.

- UK-based Affiliate of NW European oil company award well data cleanup project to DataCo: The Aberdeen affiliate have awarded a pilot cleanup project to DataCo. Following its successful outcome, a long term and ongoing work programme has been awarded.

- DataCo awarded contract to clean up subsurface data for UK-based Super-major affiliate: The Aberdeen-based affiliate have awarded a contract to DataCo to clean up a number of wells from one of their regions in the North Sea into their designated onsite corporate repository. This entails data mining, gap analysis, managing any digitising requirements, well header and associated metadata loading, log curve joining to agreed petrophysical data standards prior to loading, and the QC and loading of deviation surveys and time/depth data, amongst other data types.

- DataCo awarded contract to update the CS-5 log joining standards for UK repository: A subscription-based consortium of UK oil companies has commissioned DataCo to update the log joining standard for what has become the 'de facto' national repository. This standard is the base level required for joined curves to which all subscribing oil companies should adhere.
